Aparajita is a wonderful, little herb that grows in the tropics. It's usually found in the wild and can be found growing on trees or bushes, but it also grows as a perennial. Its leaves are green at first and then turn to bright blue later on in the season.
This wonderful twining plant generously bears quite large flowers which are a beautiful shade of vivid cobalt blue with a white throat. The flowers are presented upside down – the keel petal appears on the top rather than the underside.

Make a powder of half a gram of roasted seeds of Aparajita. Roast this powder on flame or roast 1-2 seeds on fire. Consume it twice a day with goat's milk or ghee. It provides quick relief in ascites (the problem of filling water in the stomach).
